Wings of Desire is one of Wenders most acclaimed dramas which delves deep into the human condition through the eyes of an omniscient, yet flawed angel. In the scene depicted here, I recontextualized the prevalent themes of detachment, family, and loneliness into new forms by reimagining the soundscape starting from zero–with none of the original production sound, sound FX or music.
