As early as highschool, I developed a passion for A/V work when I spent many hours behind the scenes of live concerts and events tinkering with wires, hauling equipment, and building stages. I found joy in working in a team, with my community, and with audio technology–leading me to pursue those paths further in my career.

 

Since graduating from NYU, I have thrown myself extensively into multiple facets of the music world. I have played all around NYC with my punk band and am always looking for the next gig. In producing music, I create work which reimagines the intent of a 70's symphonic prog album with a genre smashing hybrid of punk, jazz, and experimental electronic music. (my dear friend once referred to my band's music as "everything bagel punk").

 

Outside of performance based work, My career largely lies in studio-based and film work, and teaching. My mixing technique encompasses an style which is both sparse and percussive, seeking to challenge the conventional modern, dynamically compressed aesthetic. In my extensive recording studio experience, I have focused on understanding analog and digital signal flows, tracking, miking, mixing techniques, equipment configurations, and learning the consoles in each studio I have worked in. I am also a teacher and tutors.com certified tutor who's work focuses on building confidence and competence in using many softwares to make music.

For the last three years I have been working in various capacities as a sound editor and sound designer for film. I strive for a meticulous NYC-style sound, which enhances production sound with seamless foley, gentle SFX, and meticulously edited ADR.
